International LT Series Cab Options
How long do you need to drive to move cargo? Do your runs last four hours, 10 hours, or 24 hours? Length of time often dictates your choice of International LT Series cab options. The day cab is perfect for in-town, local, or regional routes where you are out and back within a 10-hour day. One new feature is the flip-down bunk when needing one driver to head to a destination but two drivers on the succeeding trip. View our list of LT Series cabs and their sizes, all of which have 125-inch BBC lengths:
Day Cab
Ideal for regional, local, bulk, or specialized applications, the day cab works best for runs of 10 hours or less. Just because this is the smallest of the International LT Series cab options, it doesn’t mean it skimps on driver-centric features like better mirrors for sightlines and connectivity in the cabin.
Day cabs are more aerodynamic and use less fuel, saving you money on fleet operations. They’ll also maneuver better in tight spaces, crowded warehouse lanes, and narrow streets of large urban centers. Use these types of LT Series cabs for freight yard operations, intermodal areas, and warehouse lots when drivers need to stay comfortable in extreme weather conditions.
56-Inch Low Roof Sleeper
The 56-inch low-roof sleeper offers a single bunk for one driver and plenty of amenities inside for long hauls as an excellent single-operator LT Series cab. Look for two overhead storage compartments for luggage, easy-to-clean vinyl surfaces, and other driver-centric features.
56-Inch Hi-Rise Sleeper
One of our most popular LT Series cab options, this one balances extra space for long-haul drivers and one bunk. Utilize the four compartments with netting to keep your items safe and secure during your travels. The aerodynamic roof helps conserve fuel and maintain better aerodynamic stability when traveling along interstate highways.
73-Inch Sky-Rise Sleeper
Do you need two bunks? The two largest LT Series cabs, at 73 inches each, have a lower and upper bunk for partner runs. The additional bunk also creates more space for both people. Look for passenger-side cabinets, a refrigerator, a wardrobe, and upper storage shelves for drivers when they need to spend a lot of time away from home. This cab size is perfect for long-haul drivers with several runs in a row. The Sky-Rise Sleeper has a window for the upper bunk, whereas the Hi-Rise sleeper does not.
73-Inch Hi-Rise Sleeper
Like the Sky-Rise Sleeper, the Hi-Rise Sleeper has more storage areas for partners who take runs away from home. The only difference is the window in the top bunk.
International LT Series Trim Levels
Select from three International LT Series trim levels, which offer the standard configurations for 125-inch cabs. The 4×2 axle is ideal for short hauls in and around Riveria Beach, and when you have lighter cargo runs where more power isn’t as necessary. A 4×2 configuration only has two powered wheels.
The 6×2 axle configuration sends power to the rear-most set of wheels. This powertrain delivers better fuel efficiency and reduces parasitic losses on longer trips. If you want more power and superior handling, the 6×4 configuration represents the perfect International LT Series trim level. It’s our most popular model because it delivers the best results with two rear axles driven by the engine. Fuel efficiency isn’t as good with a 6×2, but the extra handling and control for large loads to and from Ft. Pierce are important for safety and on-time considerations.
